Dale University
We are delighted to launch Dale University this September 2018!
Applications Process
Applications are now open for all courses - and we have an infinite list of degree courses on offer.
Should you wish to inquire about applying for a place to study at Dale University, then please do not hesitate to contact a member of our Admissions Team at daleuniversity@gmail.com
Learning and Assessment
The University operates on a basis of "all-inclusive self-accreditation"; meaning that you may choose whether to follow a guided syllabus or to learn through independent research and experience.
In order to gain credit for a course, students must summarise and present what they have learned in a format of their choice. This means that there are NO mandatory essays, field-trips or examinations to assess learning and progress.
Tuition Costs
At Dale University, we believe that education (at all levels) is a basic human right, therefore tuition is completely free. All suggested course materials will be provided free of charge, and anything our library does not have will be ordered at request. Should students wish to own personal copies of school materials, they shall be provided with an order form and a discount code upon request at the Library reception.
Accommodation
For students that need to travel more than 5 miles to the University, studio flats and shared flats are available, only a 5-minute walk from campus.
Accommodation is free of charge provided students take adequate care of the property they occupy.
Every flat has a kitchen, though the University Building also has a cafeteria, which students can buy reasonably priced meal tickets for, for use as often as preferred.
Transport
For students living within a 5-mile radius of the University, or for those who choose to stay at home, travel passes will be issued. Travel passes entitle students to free bus and train travel.
Should students have no access to public transport, a minibus or car will be of service, courtesy of the Campus Cabs initiative pioneered and funded by Dale University.
Students Association
At Dale University, there is no Students Association. The roles of student and staff are overlapping to a point where everyone is considered equally - there is no academic hierarchy.
Should anyone have any problems or suggestions they need only get in contact at reception, via email or social media and the University will take action promptly.
Contact Us
Dale University operates a hassle-free contact system.
Whatever the nature of the matter, those contacting the University need not worry about categorising their comments or directing them to the right departments. Simply get in touch at reception, via email or social media and the University will direct you to the right source of information in a timely manner.
We are enthusiastic to accept our first round of applications for the September 2018 intake. Please get in touch soon if you would like to be considered for a place at Dale University - we'd be lucky to have you!
